Learn Hindustani Classical Music
I believe that Hindustani Classical Music is not just a subject to be taught. It’s a way of thinking, of listening, of becoming more aware. Over the years, I have been fortunate to guide students across continents and cultures, helping them discover this beautiful tradition at their own pace, through their own voice.

How I Teach
All my teaching happens through one-on-one sessions held online. This allows for focused, personalised guidance where each learner progresses step by step, building a strong foundation. Depending on the subject or topic, I occasionally conduct small group classes to promote shared listening and interaction, but the heart of my teaching lies in individual attention.
My students are of diverse backgrounds not just from India, but from across the world. Many are professional musicians in their own fields ... composers, singers, instrumentalists drawn to the depth and structure of Hindustani Classical Music. Others are passionate learners who simply want to understand this artform, while some dream of becoming performers themselves. What unites them is a commitment to serious learning.
Who Can Learn?
My students range in age from 11 to 81. Age is never a barrier; what matters is your interest, sincerity, and the patience to grow slowly and consistently. Some come with no prior training, others with years of musical experience. I meet you where you are and guide you forward, one step at a time.

My Approach
There are no shortcuts. It’s a long but deeply rewarding journey where practice, consistency, and discipline matter more than talent alone. Each step builds upon the last. I do not teach in haste or push people to perform quickly. Learning with me is about absorbing the art at its core note by note, phrase by phrase until it becomes a part of you.
Some of my students pursue this art for knowledge and enrichment, but most come with the desire to sing, to express.
